i am so sorry to hear of your loss! This is one of my greatest fears in this hobby, but because of the nature of things, it is something that is going to happen to all of us at some point in time :(

I have read quite a few discussions on this topic on other forums, i am still wondering if i should be putting my contact details on the drone or not.

Dose anyone else put a cellphone number of something on the drone ?

I think we all are scared of our Multirotor running amok and damaging people or property. I personally don't put any contact details on it. But I am still not sure what is the right thing to do.

I have put my contact details on my quad as well as my plane. I weighed the pro's against the cons and decided that If I am careful and responsible then there shouldn't be a reason no to have to run and hide after a crash other than for embarrassment lol. I have already seen contact details save a few flying machines lost in the bush as locals or herds boys find them a few days later, a simple finders reward and you're a happy camper once more :)

Hi All

So, we made a successful lift of 8 bottles 'o beer. Sorry about the low light, had a crash which resulted in one shattered prop, and both spares were the wrong direction! By the time we had rushed off and back with another spare (the orange one), the sun had gone down.
Had to run after the machine with camera and head torch as the wind was also pumping but we managed about 10s I think :)

Octo with 8 beers, enjoy

With thanks to our mates Jonathan and Justin aka Chaz for witnessing/fast driving/assisting.
